About Wall Methodist Church
The present church was built in 1829 when the society was already well established. Later the school building was built next door, catering for over 100 pupils from the surrounding villages. This continued as the village school until the building of the County School in Gwinear in the 1930s - and one of our members can still remember the event!
These days our congregation is very small but we are very active in pastoral work. We are currently in Local Ecumenical Partnership with the Parish Church of St Gwinear - an arrangement which we continuously work to strengthen for our mutual benefit and the enhancement of God's work in the villages.
